About Dele

Nigeria's first SuperApp: Transforming how Lagos moves, pays, and stays informed — all in one seamless experience.

Our Story

Dele Founders

Dele was born out of frustration with the fragmented digital experience in Lagos. In 2023, our founders were juggling multiple apps for daily tasks: one for rides, another for payments, and several more for news and information.

They asked a simple question: "What if we could build one app that does it all, and does it better?" The answer became Dele — Nigeria's first true SuperApp designed specifically for the unique needs of Lagos residents.

Starting with just a small team of 5 developers working from a shared office in Yaba, Dele has grown to serve over 50,000 active users in just three years. Our mission remains constant: to simplify urban living through technology that works for everyone.

The name "Dele" itself means "to come home" in Yoruba, reflecting our commitment to creating a digital home for all your daily needs.

Our Mission

To empower Lagosians by creating technology that simplifies urban living, saves time, reduces costs, and builds community.

Simplicity

We believe technology should make life simpler, not more complex. Every feature we build focuses on ease of use and accessibility for everyone.
